classic colorblock.

Hello lovelies! I'd say happy Monday but honestly, today dragged, like a snail stuck in molasses. Anyways, here's an outfit I wore maybe a week or so ago? I picked up this vintage dress a while back at a vintage/thrift shop in the Haight in San Francisco, and this is the first time I've worn it. I know, ridiculous.

I'm wearing:
Necklace: thrifted
Dress: vintage
Sweater: Delia's
Heels: thrifted

Apologies for the slight blurriness, these were taken during the time when I misplaced my camera remote (but I found it!). Also, I'm not going to lie, this dress is a little tight on me. It's a Calvin Klein size 4 from god-knows-when, so I'm not terribly surprised that it's a bit snug in some spots. But I'm not giving up on it! Also, I'm wearing lipstick in these photos, le shock! The one red lipstick I have actually matched the rose from my necklace and the red in the dress. 

What are your favorite colors to colorblock with? Have any pieces that do the work for you (like this dress)?

    Gorgeous dress! Very classic. You could definitely style it lots of different ways too - good find! It's good you weren't wearing that today though...with the tights and this heat you might have died! Haha.

    I am excited to meet you at the swap! Have you ever been to one before? I have no clue how busy it will be but I'm sure we'll be able to find each other!
