We have made it to Day 5 in the Color Wheel Challenge! Today's color was navy/indigo. I decided to take my outfit photos indoor because it was ridiculously windy and (unfortunately rather seasonably) cold and I am not a fan of cold.
I'm wearing:
Sweater: Primark
T-shirt: don't remember
Dress: Kimchi Blue / Urban Outfitters
Socks: ModCloth
Shoes: thrifted
Earrings: Camden Market
Necklace: Pretty People Vintage (c/o Hannah)
Makeup: Almay eyeliner, Urban Decay shadows (omen, evidence, vanilla)
So I wasn't exactly making any new strides in styling when I put on this outfit, because this is usually how I wear this dress. Nevertheless, I rather like how this outfit turned out. These shoes (affectionately called my old lady loafers) are definitely growing on me, and I was surprised to find that they didn't hurt my feet after walking around in them all day. I decided to let the lace of the slip peek out from under the skirt because I liked how it created a bit of texture contrast.
Katie was quite lovely in blue today.
And Mackenzie, although she may not have done it on purpose, also wore blue today!
Tomorrow's color? Blue! I know, I know. I'm behind the crowd. But I'm a designer, and therefore must adhere to color wheel order. And Pantone. I loooove Pantone. Speaking of Pantone, we watched this awesome video today in my Studio class. So awesome. /design nerdom
I'm exhausted from walking around Georgetown with Mackenzie, so that is all for me tonight.
Have a great weekend!
