Tulle & Combat Boots: the best laid plans.

Prepare yourself for a longwinded and probably unnecessary explanation of this outfit.

So, last Friday, my plan was to leave work on time, get in a quick workout, shower & change before heading into DC for Eighties Mayhem Dance Party. But then work turned into a 9.5 hour day with no break and no time for a workout when I got home. And then I was already running late, so I took outfit photos, changed, and headed out the door. I drove all the way to the metro (and paid the nearly $5 for parking) before realizing I had left my phone at home. Meaning that no one would be able to contact me, and I wouldn't be able to find my friends when I got into the city. So then I drove back home, but by the time I got back, I would've spent more time on the metro than actually at the dance party. On the upside, I at least got to take better photos of this outfit, even if I didn't get to wear it out. (Still not the best photos, thanks to the lighting.)
