pre-fall purchases 2016.

Long time no see! I've been super sick—double ear infection and a cold, so I was down for the count for a couple days (thankfully almost back to 100%!).

I decided to do a little recap of my recent "pre-fall" purchases—the only thing not included is a gorgeous coral top I got from Loft that I couldn't find online. Of course, because I can't stick to my damn budget, this is only part of what I bought this month. I'm thinking September should be a low-spend or no-spend month for me.

I've been trying to be a little more intentional with my purchases and really putting things I'll wear in the long term in my closet. I've also been trying to get back to my one in, one out closet policy. The skirt and the wedges are a little more practical for the long term, and the top and flats are a little more fun, but things I can wear on the weekend and during the week. 

I also cleaned out my closet the other night—I've been gradually filling up another ThredUp bag to send out. Sometimes I just have a hard time letting go of things.
