merry & bright.

Well hello again! I didn't mean to take an almost three month break from blogging, but it turns out I needed the break. And for a while, I forgot about blogging and taking outfit photos, and I was okay with that. I'm not ready to leave it completely because although keeping my Stylebook updated scratches my tracking & organization itch, I still enjoy sharing how the outfits really look, and other thoughts.

I do have a few sets of outfit photos to share—a couple stragglers from October and early November, and then a few from this past week (apparently from early November through December 24th, I took zero outfit photos)—so I'm going to start backwards so it's a little more seasonally appropriate.

To be quite honest, this outfit didn't photograph as well as I had originally hoped. It feels incomplete to me somehow. I looooove this dress though—and adding a button down underneath made it a little less fancy, and also warmer. It's currently on sale for the lowest price I've seen on it so far!

How adorable is this pin that one of my best friends got me for Christmas? Surprisingly, none of our three cats have ended up in the Christmas tree, thankfully!
