Happy Thanksgiving to those who are celebrating today. I know it's a complex 'holiday,' but while I'm learning more about the Land Back movement and how to support Indigenous Peoples, I'll happily eat some pumpkin pie and sweet potato casserole.
We're staying safe this year and only having virtual gatherings with our families—honestly it's the least stressful Thanksgiving I've ever had!
Photos by my husband.
What I'm wearing:
Sweater: Madewell
T-shirt: Old Navy
Skirt: made by me - Seamwork Jenna - fabric from Domesticity
Tights: Target
Boots: DSW
Necklace: Kate Koel
Rings: vintage
Eyeshadows: Winky Lux Latte Kitten Palette
This is my second Jenna skirt that I've made, and for this one I sized down to have it sit at my natural waist, and added 2" to the length. This is the first pattern I've lengthened and it was surprisingly easy. Now that I have the hang of this pattern I think I'll be making more of these.
Also, I'm so pleased with how my makeup turned out today—I used three shadows from the Winky Luxe Latte Kitten palette, and one light beige one from Colourpop. It's been a while since I bothered with eyeshadow really, but it was fun to do something different.
Hope everyone's staying safe & healthy.
