We took these photos on Saturday after a nice unplanned brunch in Clarendon at Le Pain Quotidien (which was delicious!).
Photos by my boyfriend.
I'm wearing:
Plaid shirt: Urban Outfitters
T-shirt: Threadless
Skirt: thrifted
Belt: Target
Leggings: Old Navy
Wedges: Madden Girl via DSW
Necklace: Target
Purse: Coach, was my mom's
Red, black, and white is probably one of my favorite color combinations—for outfits, designs, everything. It's so simple and classic. This is a more hipster-y take on it, but I really like this outfit and how the photos turned out. My mom gave me this purse a few months ago and I always forget that I have it, but it's such a perfect fall color and I need to remember to use it more.
Anyways, having our parents over for dinner went really well, which was quite a relief. And I'm really glad to have the 10k behind us, although I'm still not going to stop working out (although I'm taking a few days off because my shins are still not thrilled with stairs—they were murdering me during the race).
Also, nothing like surviving a 3.5 hour meeting and coming out of it feeling much better about everything. The head of my division said that even though I may be the least experienced of our group, I've been doing my job the best. That's always nice to hear!
Have a great rest of the week!
